Domaine des Méribelles

Domaine des Méribelles in Souzay-Champigny

Domaine des Méribelles is run as a family business by Jean-Yves Dézé and his daughter Elodie, who is taking over from her father.

Domaine des Méribelles is located in the commune of Souzay-Champigny, near Saumur and the Isle Verte campsite. It extends over 32 hectares and produces mainly red wines, although whites and rosés are not forgotten, with 4.5 hectares of white. Cabernet Franc is the estate’s main grape variety.

Mostly Cabernet – Franc

As the estate produces mainly Saumur – Champigny red wines, a large part of it is planted with Cabernet – Franc, although Chenin is also used for the white wines and even Chardonnay for the crémants (60% Chenin blanc, 20% Chardonnay and 20% Cabernet-Franc).
